I wore this outfit to a late lunch last week. The embellished collar and sparkly heels are perfect for the Holidays and the denim makes the outfit suitable for day time outings.

Make a Statement

'Flower Pendent Necklace', Lookbook Store

Hello all, it's officially the first day of Winter! Although, the weather is no real indication considering its been crazy cold for the past couple of weeks but it's no surprise because that's Canadian weather for ya! I know some of you probably hate the cold because it means bundling over those cute outfits with parkas, scarves and hats but you learn to adjust. The only thing I absolutely despise about this time of year is the slush! Snow is fine but once it turns to slush I couldn't be more anxious for Spring to arrive.

Baroque-n Hearted

River Island blouse, ASOS skinnies, Forever 21 clutch, Aldo ring

As you may or may not know, I'm currently in pre-law with one and half more years until law school! It's the final stretch...well sort of - at least until I have to write the LSAT. I'm debating on whether or not I should write it this February, which means the end of my social life and record high stress levels.

The Perfect Winter Pout

Let's talk lips. Anyone who knows me knows that I have an obsession with lip colours. My fave brands right now are Chanel, Tom Ford & Estée Lauder. Although designer brands are preferable because the quality does reflect the price, selected drug store lipsticks can have the same effect. I usually prefer drug store lip sticks when I'm experimenting with colours and looks to avoid spend loads on a product I might regret.

As Winter approaches, so do Holiday parties... which means loads of opportunity to dress up and look your best. Lips are a big part of this. I made a short list of lip colours suitable for Winter. I stuck with drugstore brands because they are a little on the cheaper side and gives those who are not too familiar with lipstick a chance to try them out at affordable prices.

Costa Blanca

Costa Blanca cardigan, H&M tee, Mango leather leggings // H&M bag, Aldo wedges & ring, Forever 21 necklace

How are you all today? We're in the midst of exam season and although most of my finals were held during lectures, I have an exam next week and I'm completely anxious knowing that it's the only thing standing in the way of my much needed vacay. But anyways, to get away from the stress, I threw on my highest wedged booties and comfy oversized cardi and headed out with the girls!

December Lights

Steve Madden Heels, H&M coat, Forever 21 skinnies

It's Monday morning and as dreadful as they are,  I thought it would be the perfect time for a holiday post. My sister and I recently took a trip to the Distillery District in Toronto because this place is absolutely magical during the holiday season. There are lights everywhere, a beautiful monumental Christmas tree, many sale booths installed for the season and I just can't get enough! There was a fair bit of walking but it wasn't so dreadful wearing my most comfortable Steve Madden heels. I would defiantly recommend paying a visit if you live in the area and bring your families along!

Sweater Weather

Forever 21 Scarf, Bag & Sweater // Zara leather heel boots // H&M Skinnies

How's everyone doing today? We're in the middle of exam season at the moment so I thought why not take a break and go out to get something to eat. Lunch date is it!
I wore this printed scarf from Forever 21 to give the outfit a pop of colour & these leather high heel boots from Zara that were love at first sight ♡

Appropriately Preppy

Mendocino skirtGuess heels, H&M tights, DIY studded blouse, Forever 21 sunnies

Happy Thanksgiving to all you American's out there celebrating! I hope you're with your loved ones burrowed inside enjoying yourselves and staying warm. Although Canadian Turkey Day has passed, I felt that dressing in the holiday spirit was still fitting! As you can probably tell from previous posts, I'm lovin' the tartan trend this Fall.

Statement earrings are essential for dressing up holiday outfits. I picked up these crystal chandeliers from H&M.

Wearing skirts with these chills just doesn't happen without tights. I simply throw on my opaque black tights from H&M to keep warm and add class to an outfit.

Tigers & Tartan: Look of the Day

As Autumn creeps towards Winter, the weather gets uncomfortably chilly and all I want to do is curl up in bed with a good book and a latte in hand. But since that can only be a dream and I must still venture out in the chilly world, dressing chic is a must. This outfit combines comfort with the right amount fierce to get through the day. For this look, I wore green and blue tartan pants with a comfortable fleece sweater. The gold chain-trim bag from Forever 21 adds a little glam. These Zara leather ankle lace-up boots are to die for - defiantly a Fall favourite, I would wear them everyday if I could!

Burgundy Bliss: Look of the Day

I hope you're all enjoying your weekend! For this look, I'm wearing eggplant/burgndundy high wasted pants with a geometric printed cropped sweater. For those chilly days, a jacket is necessary, so I picked out my H&M peacoat with elegant gold rimmed buttons, so chic!

Post-Summer Sass

Wearing a denim top ( with a short A-Line skirt (Topshop) that I wore with tights because that is just simply a MUST in the Fall time! I love my cute little oxfords and snug-fit circle scarf that add a little sass to this outfit!

Country Chic

Growing up in a rural town a.k.a. the middle of nowhere, I spent a lot of time outdoors doing what the stereotypical country kid does - rolling around hay bails. Well not exactly but something along those times. We actually had this fort made of stacks and stacks of hay bails that I thought was the greatest thing ever. But now that I think about it, we were pretty much intrigued by a tick-infested pile of horse feed, haha. Enough about my questionable childhood, lets get to the outfit.

Too Cute for Combat

I've been really into the military look and all of the unique military jackets styles that have come out. This look is really easy to pull off and suits just about anyone. I paired my black skinnies with a plain white tee, combat boots, black scarf & handbag. And lets not forget the focal point of this outfit - the military jacket. (The colour is a bit off,  its more of a green shade)

Game-Day Ready

Fall is probably my favorite time of the year and it has much to do with the oversized sweaters and being able to dress stylish yet super comfortable and weather appropriate. For this look, I'm wearing a varsity muscle tee with leather leggings and a blue knit cardigan. Wine-red shoes and bag complimented this outfit perfectly.
