Country Chic

Growing up in a rural town a.k.a. the middle of nowhere, I spent a lot of time outdoors doing what the stereotypical country kid does - rolling around hay bails. Well not exactly but something along those times. We actually had this fort made of stacks and stacks of hay bails that I thought was the greatest thing ever. But now that I think about it, we were pretty much intrigued by a tick-infested pile of horse feed, haha. Enough about my questionable childhood, lets get to the outfit.

This outfit is affordable and simple to style. I just paired a quilt-knit sweater (that's unbelievably soft) with a pair of medium washed distressed jeans. For footwear I chose caramel ankle boots and matched it with an Aldo striped bag. To accessorize I just wore a few simple gold rings and necklace that you can see in the pic.

I love the zipper on these skinnies, it gives these jeans a little something extra.

Now on to shoes shoes shoes! You won' believe how comfortable these Aldo boots are until you try them on...they're really snug and soft and I think I can officially say I know what it feels like to walk on clouds *_*

For this look, I folded the jeans just above the boots which draws attention to the pant zipper and style of boot. Love this style for fall, lets you embrace the last few moments to feel the breeze before the winter chill rolls in.
